Heath & Safety
Here at Atlasco we promote the importance of all aspects of Health and Safety both on our premesis and on all of our sites.
Health and safety and its effective implementation are paramount issues to which Atlasco continues to pay close attention in order to further minimise the risks of incidents. As such health and safety is monitored on a daily basis by our workshop and site supervisors.
Atlasco is committed to ensuring that the working environments both at our premises and on site are safe and free from health hazards in consideration of our employees and others. This is achieved by working closely with our clients, suppliers and health and safety bodies.
Atlasco is a staunch supporter of the BCSA’s safety initiatives to make the industry a safer place to work. In particular the efforts to readily achieve more intuitively designed structures which can be erected quickly and safely, minimising the need for employees to work at height on open steelwork.
We are proud of our safety record and monitor our achievements against sector standards, with a view to ensuring a safety-conscious culture is displayed at all levels.
Our control policies, procedures and processes seek to achieve healthy and safe construction sites and we continually look at new initiatives, training and promotions.
We have a dedicated team of health and safety professionals providing support at local level, in terms of incident prevention, risk assessment and awareness. This is also forms part of our structured audit process.
